Costs/Payment Deadlines

Fees are:

• Fall or Spring semester - $4,480
• Fall and Spring semesters - $8,460

This fee includes:

• tuition and fees
• student health insurance
• orientation in Chengdu
• field trips (room also for overnight field trips)
• entry to some museums and cultural events

Estimated expenses not included in fees:

These estimated expenses are affected by exchange rates which fluctuate daily. Please check the current exchange rate before your departure.

• housing - $80-450/month
• meals - $30-120/month
• personal expenses - $100-250/month
• textbooks - $75-100/semester
• optional tours: Beijing - $250; Shanghai - $300
• in-country air travel from tours: Beijing $200; Shanghai $200
• Chinese visa (single entry) - $30
• re-entry visa for travel outside of China - $32
• residency cards: 6 months - $14; 12 months - $32
• in-country physical exam $20 - yearlong students only
• Sichuan Cuisine course - $140
