The University of Waikato
USAC classes are located at the University of Waikato. It is New Zealand's most modern and innovative university, widely recognized for its flexibility and international standards of academic excellence. Over 15,000 students are enrolled, with over 3,500 international students from more than 60 different countries worldwide.
The University of Waikato is spread over 165 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, with extensive sport and recreational areas surrounding three ornamental lakes. The University provides excellent modern study facilities and an extensive computer network with hundreds of terminals, with many computer labs available to students 24 hours per day. Waikato has the largest sports fields of any university campus in New Zealand, and an impressive gym and recreation center. The Pavilion next to the fields has two squash courts and adjoining netball and tennis courts, as well as a bar used by sports teams. Many sport and cultural groups are active on campus, including various international students' clubs.
The campus has a relaxed, chilled-out atmosphere and hosts a small community, offering a wide range of amenities and commercial services, whether you want to catch a movie, a low fat latté, mail a letter, exchange money, arrange scuba diving lessons or confirm your flight home.
