The Program
The Griffith University program in Queensland, Australia offers students the opportunity to study a wide range of courses in a variety of disciplines. You will also find some of the most innovative and sought after courses –
from multimedia telecommunications to Internet computing, biomolecular science to quantum technology, international relations to banking and finance.
As you may already realize, Australian semesters differ from those in the U.S. You may participate in one or both of the semesters, the first running from February to June, the second running from July to November.
Students are invited to study at one of Griffith University’s five campus locations. There is a campus on the Gold Coast and four in the Brisbane area: Southbank, Nathan, Mt Gravatt and Logan. Each campus offers a range of courses, provides study abroad students with academic and personal support, and gives students the opportunity to participate in various clubs and activities.
The Griffith program is administered in the U.S. by USAC and in Gold Coast, Australia, by Griffith University’s Study Abroad Office. Griffith staff will provide you with on-site orientation, facilitate your housing, provide you with registration guidance, provide airport pickup and oversee your well-being.
