International Business and Economic Studies
The Program
The Copenhagen program offers one six-week session combining intensive academic coursework with a rich social and cultural experience. As a student at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS), you will have the opportunity to study subjects in the area of international business and economics. There is a strong academic focus combined with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a multicultural environment where you can make international business contacts. All courses are taught in English and are attended by Danish and other international students as well as USAC participants.
The program offers a business curriculum designed to address core degree requirements at both the graduate and the undergraduate levels, while providing a rich complement of courses with an international scope. Through a well-chosen selection of CBS courses, you may add an international dimension to your studies or fulfill major requirements.
The active involvement of multinational senior executives from Danish and international companies is an integral part of the program. A discussion of intercultural differences enriches class discussions and group projects.
The Copenhagen program has a Program Coordinator who is responsible for the overall operations of the program abroad: securing appropriate student housing, assisting with course registration and overseeing the students’ well-being.
Malindi Wilks is the Program Coordinator for the Copenhagen program. Upon arrival, you will receive an on-site orientation where you will discuss practical matters and receive various materials that will help you adjust to your new surroundings. Malindi will be your contact for everyday questions and concerns.
