Viterbo provides students with an exciting setting from which to gain a working knowledge of the Italian language and to experience its rich culture away from English-speaking tourist areas. The semester Viterbo program offers two distinct optional tours: fall students travel to the heart of Italy through Tuscany and Florence and spring students travel through Naples and Pompeii. Participation in various local field trips, festivals, and activities supplements these exciting tour options.
The Viterbo program has a Resident Director that is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program: hiring outstanding faculty, organizing field trips and optional tours, and overseeing students' well being.
