Living Accommodations for The Hague, Netherlands

Off-Campus Housing

Most local university and international students book their accommodations through a private housing provider and live in off-campus accommodations. The university does not have its own on-campus housing but has made arrangements with a variety of private housing providers across the city to help visiting students locate off-campus housing options. However, space is extremely limited, and housing is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Housing assistance is available to students only after they are accepted to study at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

Most students will rent single rooms within an apartment shared with other local university and international students; larger rooms and studios may be available for a higher cost. A limited number of double rooms may also be available. Most accommodations are located within 20 minutes from the university and have a shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Commuting is part of daily life in The Hague, and there is a comprehensive public transportation system of trams, buses, and trains that serves the city and the rest of the Netherlands.
