Specialty programs have an on-site Resident Director (RD) who provides comprehensive support to students throughout their study abroad experience. RDs are responsible for the academic curriculum and faculty.

The Torino program has a Resident Director who is responsible for the USAC office abroad and overall operations of the program: hiring outstanding faculty, organizing field trips and optional tours, and overseeing your general well-being. The Reggio Emilia Resident Director is Eliana Silvestro.

The Resident Director, assisted by program coordinator Daniele Cataldo, meets the group flight at the airport, provides on-site orientation, takes you to your program housing, and organizes interesting field studies and optional tours.
