May 30 Duanwu (Dragon Boat) Festival - no classes
June 3 Field trip—Xitang water village
June 10 - 11 Overnight field trip—Hangzhou
June 19 - 23 Session I final examinations
June 26 Depart for Beijing (if on the optional tour)
June 26 - July 1 Optional Beijing Tour
July 1 Return from Beijing to Shanghai (if on optional tour)
July 3 Session II courses begin
July 15 Field trip—Suzhou
July 21 - 22 Overnight field trip—Nanjing
July 24 - 28 Session II final examinations
July 28 Program end date
July 30 Last day to move out of program housing
Open return Students establish their own date of return

USAC reserves the right to make adjustments to fees or deadlines at any time. If a program fills earlier than anticipated, USAC may move up the position hold payment deadline date to secure students’ placement in the program.

Occasionally dates need to be changed or field trips modified. Refer back to this calendar often for the most current dates.
